Wix

On Wix you add Grona’s three-line snippet as custom code placed in the head of all pages. Use this page to install Grona on a Wix site.

Before you start

• A Wix site on a Premium plan. Wix custom code needs Premium.
• Owner access to the Wix site.
• Your Grona workspace id, from your Grona dashboard. See Install the Grona script.

This is the snippet you paste. Replace YOUR_WORKSPACE_ID in both script URLs with your workspace id:

Install

1. Open your site’s dashboard. Sign in to Wix and open the dashboard of your site.

2. Open Custom Code. Go to Settings > Custom Code. In some Wix versions it is under Marketing & SEO > Custom Code.

3. Add the snippet. Select + Add Custom Code at the top right and paste the Grona snippet into the code field.

4. Set the placement. Set Place Code in to Head and Apply to to All pages. Give the snippet a name such as “Grona” so you can find it later.

   Choose Essential as the code type if Grona must run before consent, and keep Load code once; Grona follows Wix’s in-site navigation itself.

5. Apply. Select Apply. The snippet goes live on your published site.

You can choose specific pages instead of All pages, but you normally load Grona everywhere and choose pages with each campaign’s URL rules.

Platform notes

Consent banners. If your site’s cookie banner holds scripts until a visitor accepts, Grona’s scripts do not run before consent: the first page has no flicker protection and the dashboard check reports the script as missing. Check how your Wix consent settings treat this custom code. See Consent and storage.

Verify

Open your published site in a new private window, open your browser’s developer tools and filter the Network tab by grona. Confirm that antiflicker.js and main.js both load with status 200 or 304. Then run the dashboard check. See Verify your installation.

Track conversions

Wix has no Grona-specific conversion path. Use a custom-event goal from the Grona dashboard, as described in Track conversions and custom events.

Remove Grona

Go to Settings > Custom Code, delete the Grona snippet and confirm. See Remove Grona for the rest.
