On BigCommerce you add Grona’s three-line snippet with Script Manager, which loads third-party scripts without editing theme files. Use this page to install Grona on a BigCommerce storefront.

Before you start

• Admin access to the BigCommerce store.
• Your Grona workspace id, from your Grona dashboard. See Install the Grona script.

This is the snippet you paste. Replace YOUR_WORKSPACE_ID in both script URLs with your workspace id:

Install

1. Open Script Manager. In your BigCommerce admin, go to Storefront > Script Manager.

2. Create a script. Select Create a Script.

3. Fill in the settings.

   • Name: “Grona”. The description is optional.
   • Location: the head of the page, not the footer.
   • Select pages: All Pages.
   • Script type: Script.

4. Paste and save. Paste the Grona snippet into the script content field and select Save.

Script Manager can also limit a script to some page types, such as Store Pages, Checkout or Order Confirmation. For full coverage, keep All Pages and choose pages with each campaign’s URL rules.

Platform notes

Consent banners. If your store’s cookie consent banner holds scripts until a visitor accepts, Grona’s scripts do not run before consent: the first page has no flicker protection and the dashboard check reports the script as missing. Check how your consent settings treat this script. See Consent and storage.

Verify

Open your storefront in a new private window and visit a product page and a category page. On each, open your browser’s developer tools, filter the Network tab by grona, and confirm that antiflicker.js and main.js both load with status 200 or 304. Then run the dashboard check. Track conversions

BigCommerce has no Grona-specific conversion path. Use a custom-event goal from the Grona dashboard, as described in Track conversions and custom events.

Remove Grona

In Storefront > Script Manager, delete the Grona script. See Remove Grona for the rest.
