Webflow

On Webflow you paste Grona’s three-line snippet into the site-wide head code in your site settings, then publish. Use this page to install Grona on a Webflow site and to check it on the live domain.

  • A Webflow site on a paid site plan. Webflow custom code needs a paid plan.
  • Editor or Admin access to the Webflow project.
  • Your Grona workspace id, from your Grona dashboard. See Install the Grona script.

This is the snippet you paste. Replace YOUR_WORKSPACE_ID in both script URLs with your workspace id:

<link rel="preconnect" href="https://cdn.grona.ai">
<script src="https://cdn.grona.ai/workspaces/YOUR_WORKSPACE_ID/antiflicker.js" data-grona-af-bg="#ffffff"></script>
<script src="https://cdn.grona.ai/workspaces/YOUR_WORKSPACE_ID/main.js" async></script>
  1. Open Site Settings. From your Webflow dashboard, open the settings of your site.

  2. Open the Custom Code tab. In Site Settings, select the Custom Code tab. It has two sections, Head Code and Footer Code.

  3. Paste the snippet into Head Code. Paste the Grona snippet into Head Code, not Footer Code. This loads it in the <head> of every page.

  4. Save and publish. Select Save, then publish your site. Custom code takes effect only after you publish.

To load Grona on one page only, open that page’s Page Settings in the Designer and paste the snippet into its Inside <head> tag field instead. You normally load Grona site-wide and choose pages with each campaign’s URL rules.

Consent banners. If a consent banner on your site blocks scripts until a visitor accepts, Grona’s scripts do not run before consent: the first page has no flicker protection and the dashboard check reports the script as missing. See Consent and storage.

Publish the site, then open your live domain in a new private window, not the webflow.io staging address. Grona campaigns match pages by URL, so check the domain your campaigns target. Open your browser’s developer tools, filter the Network tab by grona, and confirm that antiflicker.js and main.js both load with status 200 or 304. Then run the dashboard check. See Verify your installation.

Webflow has no Grona-specific conversion path. Use a custom-event goal from the Grona dashboard, as described in Track conversions and custom events.

In Site Settings > Custom Code, delete the Grona snippet from Head Code (and from any page’s Inside <head> tag field where you added it), select Save and publish the site. See Remove Grona for the rest.
