HubSpot
On HubSpot CMS you paste Grona’s three-line snippet into the site header HTML setting, which adds it to the <head> of every page HubSpot hosts: website pages, landing pages and blog posts. Use this page to install Grona on a site hosted on HubSpot CMS.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- A HubSpot CMS account with admin access.
- Your Grona workspace id, from your Grona dashboard. See Install the Grona script.
This is the snippet you paste. Replace YOUR_WORKSPACE_ID in both script URLs with your workspace id:
<link rel="preconnect" href="https://cdn.grona.ai"><script src="https://cdn.grona.ai/workspaces/YOUR_WORKSPACE_ID/antiflicker.js" data-grona-af-bg="#ffffff"></script><script src="https://cdn.grona.ai/workspaces/YOUR_WORKSPACE_ID/main.js" async></script>Install
Section titled “Install”-
Open Settings. Sign in to HubSpot and select the gear icon in the top navigation bar.
-
Find Site header HTML. In the left sidebar, go to Content > Pages, choose the domain (or all domains), and open the Templates tab. Scroll to Site header HTML.
-
Paste the snippet. Paste the Grona snippet into the Site header HTML field.
-
Save. Select Save. The change applies to your published HubSpot CMS pages.
To load Grona on one page only, open that page in the HubSpot page editor, go to the Settings tab, find Additional code snippets, and paste the snippet into Head HTML. You normally load Grona site-wide and choose pages with each campaign’s URL rules.
Platform notes
Section titled “Platform notes”Only HubSpot-hosted pages. The site header HTML setting covers pages that HubSpot CMS serves. Pages on another platform need their own install.
Consent banners. If HubSpot’s cookie banner, or another consent tool, holds scripts until a visitor accepts, Grona’s scripts do not run before consent: the first page has no flicker protection and the dashboard check reports the script as missing. See Consent and storage.
Verify
Section titled “Verify”Open one of your HubSpot-hosted pages in a new private window, open your browser’s developer tools and filter the Network tab by grona. Confirm that antiflicker.js and main.js both load with status 200 or 304, and check a few different pages. Then run the dashboard check. See Verify your installation.
Track conversions
Section titled “Track conversions”HubSpot has no Grona-specific conversion path. Use a custom-event goal from the Grona dashboard, as described in Track conversions and custom events.
Remove Grona
Section titled “Remove Grona”Delete the Grona snippet from Site header HTML and from any page’s Head HTML field where you added it, then select Save. See Remove Grona for the rest.
